My Designs
This was the cover I designed for the 2023 Christmas Edition of the Wy-News. This design was one of my first cover designs. Because it was a feature edition, I designed the cover to mimic a family Christmas card. Featured at the top was our two Editors dressed as Santa and Elves. The top photo features our editing team, the bottom right showcases our reporters and the left is our entire staff.
This was the front page design from the 2024 December Issue. Here, I focused on Christmas themes while also serving as an insight to what our issue features.
From the January 2025 issue, I designed a feature page all about Scholarship's for Seniors. This page was difficult because there was not much picture wise I could include to enhance this layout. Because of this, I focused on breaking up the text while also providing visuals on what the scholarship sites would look like.
Above is my first ever front page design. For this Fall Issue, each leaf was photographed and individually placed on this page to give a more realistic feeling.
This page was a news layout from the 2023 Christmas Issue. This page includes an article about our FFA program creating December arrangements.
For this design in the 2024 December Issue, I wrote an informative feature on self-talk at our school. Again, it was difficult to come up with pictures for this article but alternative copy played a key role in this design.
